The launch of the innovative smart sensor system B-Neo in January 2021 marks the expansion of B-Horizon into a new business segment.

For quite some time we brainstormed on those questions, developed and tested, to accomplish something that has the potential to become the next game changer. The result is B-Neo, an all-new technology engineered by B-Horizon.
Areas of Application
Being an all-new smart sensor system, B-Neo can measure multiple parameters simultaneously, in various areas of application, as car seats, smart textiles and shoes, haptic gaming suits, or even in diapers. The extremely flat yet resilient sensors can be integrated directly in/on flexible material, making the production process efficient and economic.
The data collected by the sensors are processed with support of AI, and provided to the user’s smartphone, smartwatch, or a larger screen. The benefits for the consumer are manifold: the application in car seats allows occupant identification and monitoring, to support automated driving of level 3 and beyond, and to optimize the activation characteristics of the airbags. In sports and gaming, the user receives a range of valuable analyses including tips that help him evaluate and optimize his activity or workout.
