With the focus on digital vehicles and alternative driver systems, the fair offered a deep insight into the future of the driving experience.

The digital car and alternative drive systems were in the focus at the world’s third-largest motor show, which took place from 18th to 25th of April in the Chinese economic metropolis: the Auto Shanghai 2019.

Those ongoing technological developments and the expansion of the automobile industry in China is an interesting opportunity for B-Horizon’s unique service portfolio in combination with our comprehensive experience in the automotive sector. The significance of the technological progress in the field of microelectronics is essential for the automotive industry and it is the driving force especially for the digital future of the automotive sector. Our services open up new horizons for shaping this future.

Our CEO Mohammad Kabany therefore visited the exhibition to extend our networks on the Asian market, and explore new opportunities.

With the fair’s main themes electromobility, autonomous driving and connected cars, the exhibition provided an outlook to the future of driving. Regarding the fact that China intends to become one of the leading markets for electromobility and autonomous driving, all renowned manufacturers and suppliers as well as numerous start-ups use the opportunity to show their premieres and innovations in the 13 halls of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai.

Especially in the fields of autonomous driving, China pushes research and development to achieve their ambitious objectives. Hence the European co-organizer of Auto Shanghai Peter Bergleiter predicts a constantly growing demand for corresponding technologies. Therefore the market development in Asia presents a promising opportunity for B-Horizon’s business model and the intended expansion into Asian markets. The presence of more than 1,000 automobile manufacturers and component suppliers offered the ideal platform for the extension of our network in China, and to enter into conversations with relevant international players.
